Pre- and postnatal physio
Pregnancy puts your body through a lot of changes and also your muscles, ligaments and joints will experience this. So frequently pregnancy causes some musculoskeletal complaints as well.
This requires specialized guidance both pre- and postnatally. We will help you to control your symptoms during pregnancy as much as possible. After giving birth, we will guide you through the recovery process.
You can contact us for pre- or postnatal physiotherapy for the following complaints:
- Back pain, sciatica and sacroiliac dysfunction due to pelvic instability
- Pelvic pain
- Abdominal pain or weakness
- Diastasis recti related complaints
- Postural complaints such as neck pain, shoulder pain or back pain during pregnancy or due to f. ex breastfeeding posture
- Wrist pain like De Quervain's Tenosynovitis
- Pelvic floor rehabilitation (during and after pregnancy)
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Headache

If you have any questions about exercising during your pregnancy, you can also contact us. Together we will look what may need to be adjusted, but an active pregnancy will ensure fewer pregnancy ailments and a smoother delivery. Even after childbirth, it is important to recover your pelvic floor (from 4-6 weeks postpartum) and we will work together towards resuming all your daily and sportive activities.
