Silke Bal - Physio

Hi, I’m Silke, a physiotherapist with a strong passion for sports, movement, and the human body.

I studied Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at Ghent University, specialising in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In addition, I have completed several further training courses, including at Where Physio Meets Coach, and I am always eager to deepen my knowledge of strength, sports, and performance.

My main passion lies in sports, with a particular interest in cycling, where I am also active as a physiotherapist. Outside of work, sports and movement are an important part of my life as well.

My love for physiotherapy

What I love most about physiotherapy is being able to help people get back to doing what matters to them. Whether that means returning to sport, going through daily life without pain, or simply regaining confidence in their body.

I believe it is important to look beyond the symptoms and work together to understand what each person truly needs. Through a personal and active approach, I aim to help people become stronger, more independent, and above all, feel better.

What I want to achieve through physiotherapy

My goal is to bring out the best in every person, regardless of their level or reason for seeking help. Together, we work towards a goal that is meaningful to you: from moving without pain again to becoming stronger, returning to your sport, or improving your physical performance.

Because ultimately, for me, it comes down to one thing: helping you get back to doing what you love most.
